Weekend getaway.

Bull's Tavern in Ligonier.
Some of the stuff you will see riding Rt.30, the Lincoln Highway.
Very nice place in Chambersburg. Great air conditioning that was a wecome relief from the heat, and ice cold Pabst.
Haunted Cashtown Inn.
Really cool Art Deco service station in Bedford.
Maybe the best breakfast you'll ever get.
This was our first time here, but we will definitely stop in anytime we are near.

Jen and I rode Big Red over to Gettysburg this weekend for a little fun. We stopped in at all our favorite spots and just had fun in general. Gettysburg is a great little town to hang around, some great places to eat and some really cool bars to hang out in. I would definitely recommend going and taking Rt. 30 across thru the mountains. There are some great lookout places along the way and some other cool old time stuff to see from when Rt. 30 was one of the main Rts. to get across the state. Scooter's Mountain Side Tavern was a first time stop for us, and it's a very cool place, it reminded us of what a biker friendly bar used to be like before every bar hung a Bikers welcome sign. Very friendly people not trying to out biker everyone' just people being who they are, no weekend warriors.                          Posted by Doug.
