The other part of the reason it took over 10 hours to get to the lake.

Of course we stopped here.

Manhattan made with Old Overholt Straight Rye whiskey. Delicious.

The old bar at the Bristol Inn.

Just a few of the stops along the way, the East Park Cocktail lounge in Ravenna, Ohio, was too cool. Everything from the sign, the orange top on the bar, to the Old Overholt Rye. The bar is moving in two weeks and the signs are not going to the new bar, what a shame. I don't have many pics this year, I had to leave early and didn't get to do all I had planned but there's always next year.

Labor Day fun, a trip to Bear's Vintage Metalworks.

Outside of Bear's, the building was originally a flour mill built in the 1880's.

I wanted the narrowed tanks real bad, they were incredible. But to my dismay, they were not for sale.

Al, George and I stopped at Bear's Vintage Metalworks in Ravenna, Ohio on our way up to Geneva on the Lake. It is definitely worth stopping in to see the place and to meet Bear, his wife Sharon and the rest of the crew. The place is full of Harley history and old and new parts for sale. He has, or can get, most anything you need, along with one hell of a great seat business. He can make you any seat you want, or reupholster your seat with a two week turnaround including a loaner seat. We could have stayed and talked to Bear all day, but eventually we had to leave to find refreshments.

PANHEADS FOREVER!

Beautiful '50 Pan I saw at The Pavilion bar in Geneva on the Lake. The owner is from Cleveland and rides this bike always as it is his only bike.

Brotherhood of Man - Motorhead

Beaver county river regatta

Today me and my wife headed over to the regatta in Bridgewater. They had a antique bike show put on by the Beaver county chapter of the A.M.C.A. Plenty of great motocycles were for your viewing pleasure. I did not get the owners names for all the pics. So i'm going not to list them. I will say i got to see carrie's electric, kick start pan which is done in more my style for a vintage bike. Also we stayed for the drag boats. They made a total of two passes before one boat sank. We stayed for a hour so they could restart and salvage the boat. But they could not find it! Enjoy the pics.

Thats not a shark fin. It's the sinking boat.
