Rainy Sunday

Measuring ingredients.

Prepping parts.
Cooking
What? I'll give your pan back.
Not done yet.

Finished pieces.

Sunday was a rainy spring day, so I decided to try to parkerize some stuff for the Pan. I have been wanting to try this, so Jen and I hit the garage to experiment. I learned some things, and our first try went fairly well. I will be doing more over the next few weeks and expect to improve on my results. Just having fun doing as much of the work as I can on the Pan myself.                                                    Posted by Doug.

Another Tues.

Nice blue sky.
They have done some work since my last time there. Siding, windows, paint, and even some more furniture on the porch. I'm not sure about the new look.
Relaxing on a sunny day is what it's all about.
Good bar food served here, and Pabst. Nice place inside, I don't fish but they still always welcome me.
Across the road from Crystal Lake Inn. Probably lots of things that bite in there.
The ducks seem to like it.
The Jug Handle in Transfer Pa., is another regular stop for me. They have good pizza, but definitely not Wooleys.                       Posted by Doug.

Typical Tuesday

Denny says hi

Heading in for this weeks meeting.

Looking great

Anger management
Took a short ride Tues., ran some errands and did some visiting. Went to lunch with Ron and ran into Denny, who I worked with for over twenty years. It's always great to see him, Denny's good people. It's great to see him enjoying his retirement. After lunch it was time for anger management so over the hill to Wooleys I went. Mark showed up on his 1960 Pan, what a sweet bike. After a few beers and bike talk I'm left feeling happier and ready for the rest of my week. I had to leave a little early this week for reasons I won't soon live down. Oh well.                          Posted by Doug.

Never waste a sunny day.

The Big Red Rocket of Love poised and ready for anything or anywhere.
Ron says hurry up I'm hungry.
Dressed for winter
Who me?
Tristan and Janet
I took a ride Saturday to see my nephew at college with his mom and dad and friend Andy. The weather was nice at home, but knowing Edinboro weather, we dressed accordingly. After a few stops (meaning a few beers) we arrived in Edinboro to see snow on the ground and cloudy skies overhead. When we turned on to the main street, we were greeted by the throngs of partygoers doing the first annual barstool open. It was a bar crawl to benefit the Edinboro Fire Department. It looked like a lot of fun, they  had a putting green set up in each bar that would decide the winning team. Prizes were up for grabs, beer and drink specials, and lots of typical college-town fun. We ate at The Empty Keg, a regular stop of mine for many years now, great food and cool atmosphere - and the have Pabst. Would have been fun to put together a team and do the Open, maybe next year. After saying our goodbyes it was off for home with a couple more stops, (same as above). What a great day of riding - covered about 230 miles got to see Tristan and ride with family.  What else could I want for a Saturday.
