Milwuakee trip part 1

I went to Milwaukee for school for factory training at Harley Davidson University. During my stay we went to the museum and other local tourists spots. If you ever have a chance to stop there you won't regret it.

Polar Plunge 2014

Once again me and my crazy friends have joined to jump in the Beaver river under team name "THE FROZEN FEW" to raise money for thhe Beaver County Special Oylmpics. This year the weather was once again on our side with 52 degrees out side to battle the water temp of 19 degrees. The goal this year was just to do better than last year for us that meant raise more money and get more people to join us in the plunge. This was done we raised one thousand dollars and had four more jumpers than last year, one which was my wife. here's a couple pics taken by Doug.

Dreaming of better weather.

It's cold and snowing outside and I'm inside thinking of summer, sunshine and blue skies.                        Posted by Doug.

Great winter time reading.

A really cool book.
The authors cover bike when it was first finished. It has gone through some changes over the last couple of years.

Author enjoying his Knuck.
Time for some fun. Teach and Jeff go head to head.
Hey that bike looks familiar.
Too much fun.
Got a surprise Christmas gift the other day, Keith got me a copy of Teach's book. I was really stoked I had been wanting this book for some time. Kevin (Teach) Baas is a really good guy, Keith and I have both spent time riding and partying with him, it was nice to finally get to read his book.                    Thanks Keith.                           Posted by Doug.

Ben and Carrie's winter project.

Pans are always cool.

Nice looking backside.

Electric start installed.

Ben and Carrie picked up this Pan awhile back and decided to make a Bobber. It's a good way to beat the winter blues. They are well on their way to cool with this bike.                   Posted by Doug.

Ups and downs

A couple of Christmas gifts from my wife. His and hers biker gnomes for our backyard this summer and a bottle of  Blairs Death Sauce  which will be a ingrediant for my chilli.

Well dwelling on this past years ups and downs which is life. I can look upon last year with fond memories of riding with friends, meeting people that i may know call a friend and ran into some old friends. these i consider the some of ups for the year. Then you have the downs which are always differant for everybody. For me seeing a family lose a father, grandfather and great grandfather four days before Chritmas saddens me. This person i speak of is Butch"Pappy" Spooner. I might him eight years ago when i moved here for work. The man was kind always in a good mood greeted you with a hug and how are you doing brother? He was always out to help the ones who needed helping. Pappy rode his bagger everywhere and said when he got old he might buy a trike. He was 76 years young when past.
