So, me and the ol'lady took a trip to Wellsboro,Pa. for the weekend.We headed out saturday morning jumping on rt 79 to rt 80 towards CLAIRION,Pa. to make some time.Are other participants of the weekend already left on Friday.Damn work made me miss a day.Anyhow we meet up at the cabin we rented that afternoon with much excitment.Did i mention this place was as close as being on top of Walton's mountain ten miles of gravel roads in any direction to get to it uphill both ways.We precided to go for drink and food at the Burning Barrel Bar ten miles outside of Wellsboro.food was good drink was better.from that point it it was a hunt for bacon to purchase for breakfast the next morning.which was not easy in east jesus nowhere.that nite was consumed by 1800 and miller lite.the next morning me and myndie cooked breakfast then with bellies full we headed for a great day of riding.first stop was the OX YOKE good old style tavern and motel on rt 6.then towards rt 144 to rip thru the PA. GRAND CANYON.it was for of great views and better rodes 100 miles of sweet riding.next stop was the WAGON WHEEL at the bottom.this was the best place.PBR'S were cold and cheap the place was my kind of joint you a dive bar.while we were there some yuppies walked in looked around then walked out that just warms my black heart.the bartender was cool too.she was happy to serve us and answer questions about the place.then we headed in wellsboro for some city drinking.the GASLIGHT is a pretty cool place jukebox was full of metal and again the Pasbt was cold.all an all everywhere we went we had a great time with a ggod bunch of friends some drama insued but nothing to damper are mood.this is gonna be a yearly trip for us now.roughly 700 miles on the middle age glide.tons of beer and liquor was consumed.seen a couple bears and hawks a few turkeys some in the wild and some in bars.check out the pics below.i'm telling ya it was fun and too much to type. next stop is this saturday is going to be the STEELTOWN SHAKEDOWN at the TWIN HIGHWAY drive inn in Moon Twp. for some rat rods and rock a billy music.stay tuned
