2014 Pennsylvania State Fishing Tournament.

Hey throw me some candy.

The best spot to watch the parade, outside the Tidioute Hotel.

A few fish brought back for the weigh in.
Yukon Cornelius. George finally finds a suitable toilet.

Cougar Bob's.

Saturday was the 55th annual fishing tournament in Tidioute. Being avid fishermen, we attended. After being the pre-parade, we settled in at my favorite fishing spot on that part of the river to watch the actual parade.  What a parade, I wish I would have taken more pictures (as always). I missed some of the highlights, the 80's guy dancing, and the cross-dressing clown -- what a sight. At the weigh in booth the last time I checked, a 46.5" Musky at almost 23lbs. was leading the pack, that's a big fish. After some lunch and some more refreshments, we took a ride up Rt.666 to Cougar Bob's for some laughs, and then started working our way home. It was a picture-perfect day with beautiful roads and great scenery, although some of my favorite spots were closed, very odd on a Saturday. Oh well it was a great day with great friends.

Project garage is complete

Bikes in their new home.

Well the garage is built and the sickles are tucked in. All that is left is to build it into a proper shop. This gonna take some time i'm not Rockafeller you know. Benches and shelves to be done along with insuliation and pegboard for tools. Also have to move in the shovelhead and parts. No garden weasels or yard equipment are allowed. I'm so happy my bikes will be out of the weather. Not saying they will be any cleaner just drier.

Do not let this happen to you

Ok this will be a ongoing post. For people who own bikes and have a buddy that is a baker, barber or candle stick maker that says he can work on his or your bike. So you don't have to take it to a qualified tech who does this for a living. Not saying that some people can't who have other careers. Just most should not.
My buddy is electrician in the mill

These next 3 of a cam area is what happens when you don't have a 99-06 twin cam cam chain tensioners checked between 32k and 40k miles. then you ride it and ignore the niose coming from the engine. This was ridden to the shop with a complaint that the engine light was on. He said nothing about having no oil pressure or motor niose. This engine is now junk.

The metal tab above the spring is where the tensioner shoe use to be.

This what i pulled out of the cam chest with my finger. I did not pull cams or support plate out. The triangle piece in the upper left corner is part of suppport plate. The spring and rod piece are part of a pressure releif that was part of cam plate.
Stay tuned more to come.

merch annuocment

This all started because me and doug were talking how we read all these blogs. So we decided to make are own blog figuring why not have are own. Well this has also spurred another conversation of how were always buying sombody's t-shirts. So you guessed it we are working on our own t's with our own style of sarcastic humor about motorcylcing or the lifestyle portrayed with it. Stay tuned.

My new project for my projects

Me and Myn has finally decided to bulid a garage just for the bikes. All cages are to be banned from this area. Just to make sure the main door is 9x7 too small for any 4 wheeled cage. Here's some progress pics

Steeltown Shakedown 2014.

Keith's Shovel

Cool '47 WL

Not sure why it was in the back of a truck.

Best bike of show winner.

'68 Hemi Barracuda.

Just a small sample of the cars there.

The five finalists in the Pin-Up Girl contest.

The winner.

One cool little man, even had a pack of smokes rolled up in his sleeve (they were candy cigarettes).
It was time once again for the best car show around, The Steeltown Shakedown. The day started with sunny skies and hot humid weather, even though the weather man said rain and possible heavy storms. The crew met at Marbulls for lunch and pre-show refreshments, then it was a nice ride to the show. Once there, we were treated to some of the best cars around, I don't think anyone else cared what the weather man had to say. Twice the wind kicked up and brought in dark clouds but neither time did we see any rain. The Turbo Sonics were there playing surf and hot rod music and kickin' ass like always. I can't get enough of their music. Sailor Jerry Rum was set up with FREE drinks and swag, they were making rootbeer floats with rum in them. I was told they were delicious. Thank you Jeff for thinking to bring refreshments along. Once again it is a must do event.
