thursday rant

something new, since this is my blog that i share with my friends.i have decided to take a moment to air out what pisses me off! i visit some other blogs and chat rooms that are all about choppers or the chopper culture.as i've noticed to my surprize there is alot of grammar nazi's.you know who i mean.the jackhole who post nothing of use,but to bitch on proper spelling or punctuation.WTF! really? then are you one of those tool bags who thinks it makes you cool to speed pass business's like motorcycle shops, bars or any place were people are hanging outside?does this make your cock bigger? or howbout the guy that feels the need impress you and to tell you how much horsepower he thinks his factory bike is putting out because he just got new air filter and exhaust that he paid too much for.who cares?not me.hey i'm glad he has a love for his bike.you wanna impress me not that it matters.tell me you know how to change your own oil.or know where the oil goes at least.then today on the way home from work so tool on a honda vtx 1300 or 1800 runs up on me at a redlight.at first i thought he was going to rear end me.then the light turns green he is behind me mind you.he takes off almost passing me in my lane and i guess he wants to race.so i pick up the pace just so he can get right beside me now in the other lane and slow down! once again WTF! don't run up on any vehicle thats a good way to end up a statsic.then you got the hippsters there's a bunch of toolbags! acting like there the newest patched member of the s.o.a. riding the trendiest bike going.with there $120 jeans, highend shoes and 5k watches.there longest ride of the season is to the local bikenite.probaly lives twenty miles away.drinking some low carb beer or mixed drink with a napkin wrapped around the glass some the condensation won't drip on there shoes! you know what sell the fuckin bagger to somebody who will ride like it was supposed to be and move on to the jersey shore and hang with people who enjoy the same things as you.what i love about this lifestyle is that it is a lifestyle.whether you riding import or american.you wake up and the first thing you think of is your bike, the second is were your riding your bike and the third there is no third!the bike is life!or how bout the guys who think a great day ridin is 50 bars stops in 30 miles of each other.hey i don;t mind stopping for a cold one but lets put some miles on,especially on your day off.fuck you bought the bagger use the fuckin thing!i'll ride my softail 300 miles on a sunday aint no reason you can't! i wasted enough of your time with my ramblings. i'm going ride to starbucks around the corner and hang out drinking a latte!

steel town shakedown

last weekend me and the fellow gnomes went to the shakedown at the twin hi-way drive in.I tell you the Drifters car club put on one helluva show! The weather cooperated somewhat. It was overcast and threatened rain all afternoon but that did'nt keep some badass rods and some great bands from showing up.The flame thrower competion however seemed to be drowned out by the dampness.Torch and the down and dirty big rig was the only two that could conjure up some hell fire from the exhaust.Should have the pics posted in a day or two.

if you seen this or not it's a must

Crash's new project 2011 Street Glide

Crash picked up 2011 Street Glide.  Needs cosmetic work. He'll soon be joining the the other Gnomes with a bagger.  Nice to have options.

Lunch in West Virginia

Went for lazy ride Sunday thru West Virginia mountains. Came across cool bar called Wild Wild West Saloon. Since its always the right time to eat and drink, we did. Had a great lunch and met some cool people. Will definitely stop back! Left home with the certainty of rain, but if we would have stayed on the couch, we would have never found Wild Wild West Saloon. All in all a great day. Ignore the weather man and go riding! P.S. We ended up getting soaked, but that didn't stop us from having a great time.
