My favorite bike of all time!

This was my friend Dean's Panhead. It was road hard putting an amazing 28,000 miles on it in two years time.It was road all over the U.S.A. This picture was taken at the annual Pakrats swap meet and party in 1994. P.S. that's Keith in the top left corner with his old sidehack FLT.

the stop in mercer
Well we still are having unseasonaly warm temps for western Pa.Except for ten minutes of rain the day was great. We were joined by a extra rider today in the camera shy Jeff.So we took off from beaver county to points unknown.Since i pretty much became a amature weather person by the way of the intrernet.Me and Doug firgured heading due north was the logical direction. We were correct. So we ended up in the parking lot of a fine mexican joint in Meadville,Pa.Which happens to be the same chain of resturant that me and the ol'lady ate at in New Castle,Pa. last nite. From there it was decided to head to Conneiut Lake. There we stopped in the park for some photos and a quick burn then also stopping by Walts Tavern for some drinks.Pretty upscale joint compared to our low standards of dive bars.I would usally tell the route numbers that were traveled but i was not paying attention and Doug was leading. So from there the road took to the spillway at pymatuning{ican't spell that}to take some pics of the wild life. Then it time to head back home but before that it was a stop for some ice cold PBR in Mercer,Pa. and some much needed fuel for me.Which i need to tell yeah. Most people are thinking that motorcycles are cheap transportation which it is.Going 200miles it gets costly todays journey ran roughly 30bucks in gas.Thats saying something considering my tank only holds 3.3.gal.Any way lets jusy say money well spent. On a side note remember when every place you went in the ninties there were cookie cutter chopers? Now it is for sure now the yaers of the bagger for the past two times out everywhere i look was a street glide or road glide and i'm not saying a couple.I'm saying every fucking stop and to think i also am gulity of having one.But atleast its just one of the fleet and not my number one choice when i go for a ride.Yet i will ride it for certain applications for which i bought ti for.Basically for two up riding with my wife and poor weather.More one that at a later date.

A little two wheel therapy

Well, headed out today for a nice with 60degree temps.Me and doug put on about 160 some odd miles.Just what the docter ordered.Left around 1130am headed to points unknown. We took RT,18 out of beaver county and jumped on RT,30 into Wv.then across the river to Oh. where we headed towards Lisbon.Stopped for gas then back out to the lost highway.Ended up in Salinesville for a drink at the Tangerine bar.If your into dive bars as we are than this is a must.We then went north out of town where we picked up a side road that lead to RT.9.We then seen the signs for Gilford Lake and went to Marks landing for lunch. That place was crawling with weekend warriors so we settled for a cold beverage and ran into a couple of my friends from were i grew up.After alittle b.s. session we headed back towards RT,9 towards Salem,Oh.Doug and i found a great place to grab a bite at Mikes Pub in Salem. We both enjoyed the fine grub.I had a Gyro and Doug had the Reuben. If your ever hungry in Salem give them a try. They also have alot of micro brews for yens who are into them. From there it on to RT,534 and back towards home the roundabout way that usally would drive some people crazy"K.L.".which means no real direct path,a left here aright there.Last stop was the Burg Bar in West Pittsburgh,Pa.Right outside New Castle Pa. on RT,168 off RT,18.They has some of best wing flavors i have ever had.Somewhere around twenty of them and they also have redbull on tap great for a guy like me who would rather have a  massive speed buzz than the typical biker buzz that i used to go for.Well the riding season is off and running so stayed tuned for more updates.

Great day for a ride.

changes

I made some changes to the bike with many names i.e.-T.A.V.,the Tjiwana Taxi or just simply the Hertiage.Anywho the 16'' front wheel is off again and the 21'' is back on thanks to a new laced up wheel. The handle bars been changed a couple of times. From the low bars seen on most pics to a narrow set of tbars and then to the final set for this year-16'' ape hangers of the one inch varitey.should have some pics soon. Also the street glide is at the paint shop and should be ready for this spring. As for the ten dollar shovel it will be put on the back burner till next winter.

fuck it

Even though this winter has been great as far as western pa weather goes the lack of riding has gotten the best of me an the gnomes.Seems like none of get out. Stuck in a funk.Won't leave the house this sucks donkey dick!Well yesterday i've decided to get my head out of my ass and park the big ford and pull out the Tavern Assalt Vehcile(TAV).As i do this the ride to work became better the ride home great. Then as usaul the bottom fell out.The weather has now decided to take a shit. But i degress the big ford  will stay parked in its resting place barring a snow strom or ice. It's time to man up!Give the citizen world the finger and live the life i see fit. There is alot to look forward to this season.
