Congratulations Mike and Paula.

Crash get your ass out of the picture.

Gary and Carol's '64 Ford in the background.
This post is way over due. My friend Mike had his 1950 FL judged at the AMCA national meet in Wauseon, Ohio this July, and scored an amazing 95 3/4 points. I wish I could have been there to  congratulate Mike. Pictures are from the Beaver Falls car cruise.      Posted by Doug.

And the Weiner is!

The day started off quiet enough.
It was a joke between me and Keith.

Thank you.

Smile for the camera.

I would like to take a moment to thank those who got me here. First off my loving wife Jen, my parents for having me, my friends for putting up with me, and to Roy Mantle for keeping this bike all original for 40 years, thank you. LOL.   Posted by Doug.

The Steeltown Shakedown 2013.

Leaving from Marbull's.

Mark and Gnome Keith. Nice shirt.

Gassers rule!

Ben again on his '47 Knuckle.

Mark on his sweet original paint '60 Pan.

The Turbo Sonics. Kick ass surf band.

What a line up! Coming to a post office near you.

Tusker's Impala, Old Dirty.

One of Pat's (Led Sled) bikes.

Old 45 record player in the back.

Mopars Rule!

Check out the camshaft on the front. Saw several cars with cams on the front.

V.W. Heaven.

Check out the mirror setup and the visor. The mirror is called a passing mirror, a first for me. It was a crazy and rare setup.

The state says you must have a light on your license plate.

Official car of Tuesday's  meetings.

HA, HA, HA, NICE.
Steeltown Shakedown time again, what a great show. Our day started at Marbull's for lunch, then a nice ride to the event. As always, the show was the best around, hands down. Nowhere else will you see this many Bad Ass cars in one place. The Turbo Sonics rocked the place with surf music from the likes of Link Wray, Dick Dale, and the Ventures just to name a few. The pin-up girl contest was as popular as ever, with many great girls strutting their stuff. What a great day with great friends. Thanks to the Sacred Pistons Car Club and the Twin Hi Way Drive-In for putting on the best show in the area.         Posted by Doug.
