Geneva On The Lake weekend.

On our way. Yes the 534 again.
Another fine establishment.

Husband and wife duo kept everyone entertained.

Saw a lot of nice cars on the strip but this Buick was my favorite.

Inside the bar at Harassments, a cool place in Jefferson Ohio.

Went to the lake this weekend for the Scottish Irish festival at the Old Firehouse winery. Everything was great, the food (the Scottish egg was fantastic), the entertainment, and the weather. After the festival died down we hit the strip for the usual good times. Sunday brought another day of great riding and great weather. If your ever near Jefferson Ohio, check out Harassments bar. It's a really cool place that is very veteran and biker friendly. The bike behind the bar was different this time. It used to be an all original 1981 Harley Sturgis, but that was sold recently. After some refreshments we were off to enjoy the sunshine and find the next stop. It was great weekend to get out and ride I hope everyone spent some time enjoying it.           Posted by Doug.

Got my seat for the '64.

Original hardware.
I finally got around to picking up the original seat for my '64. It was loaned to a friend of ours for his rat '64, and I finally went and got it. Thanks Mike.                                   Posted by Doug.

A VERY SAD DAY. GOODBYE BEACH CLUB.

The pictures say it all. The Beach Club and Dock Side burned down. It was a real sad day for many people including Jen and me. Conneaut Lake Park has always been one of our favorite destinations, going back to when we were first dating. We have spent many weekends over the years up there, especially the last few years, and the Beach Club was a big part of it for us. Over the last few years the Hotel and Beach Club have been undergoing renovation, and have been getting nicer every time we go up. The Beach Club first opened in 1935. To see nothing but a pile of rubble now is a real bummer. But the people in charge have vowed to do what it takes to rebuild starting with a fundraiser Sept. 13,14&15. We have already made our plans to go and hopefully many others will make the event to help with the project so someday soon there will be a new and better than ever Beach Club.                 Posted by Doug.
