sunday ride

So went ridin sunday with doug.left at 10a.m. after some breakfast,for me its was two camel's and a Monster energy drink and for doug it was probaly 7 eggs two pounds of bacon and half a loaf of bread.I'm sure he'll post pics of that.We rode out to Geneva on the lake,oh. under dismal skies.The fisrt part of this trip was good. No rain an some wet roads every time we made a turn.Me running no front fender proved too be intresting.The taste of road grime and the ocasional piece of road jerky tied me over till lunch at the lake.Speaking of food we saddled up at high tides bar for burgers and drinks.Which was great and the service is always top notch.We pulled out of geneva headed towards conneiut lake pa.Beautiful roads and skies the whole way.Got to the beach club in time for BIKES,BLUES AND BBQ to find a polka festival instead.I gotta say there more polka panthers than motorcycles.I guess that crowd was more dedicated than the so-called bikers because the forecast had called for isolated t-stroms.Gotta say the weather was on are side till 15 miles from home.Outside of zelienople pa. the weather must of thought we were having too much fun and it poured the rest of the way home.Once again i will note i was not running a front fender.So by the time i got home i'd was throughly cleansed by nature.By the way doug was running the road king hard core style with no windshield.265 miles home safe an soaking wet.Still better than a good day at work!
